4. Ultraviolet Light Filters: With the sanitizing properties of UV light, UV light filters are particularly useful against microorganisms such as mold, bacteria and even viruses. UV rays destroy the microbes’ DNA, stopping them from reproducing and virtually eliminating them from potable water.
